Mornington Beach

Last Thursday, we adventured to Mornington Beach. The weather was a little chilly, but the sun peeked through! We arrived at the Mornington playground where we had a bit of snack and then spent some time playing on the big adventure playground. The playground was a fantastic first stop, we explored the big ship, swung on the swings and slid down the big slide. 

We then headed down to the beach, our shoes came off and we spent lots of time playing in the water and on the sand. The sand castle building competition was a big hit, all of Foundation worked in teams to create the best sand castle. Logan, Jordan and Connor were our winners, they created the most interesting castle and showed resilience by working as a team. 

Lunch was next, we dusted off the sand and dried our pants. We relaxed on the grass while eating some hot chips as a treat! 

The day flew by!! Foundation were role models of our KPS values all day. 

Buddies Lunch

Yesterday Foundation went down to Elizabeth Bridge with their buddies. We had a chance to celebrate the year that we have had together, we enjoyed a picnic lunch and a big play on the playground. 

The students had an absolute blast celebrating 2019. 

KPS Christmas Carols 

Thank you to all the families that came along to our carols on Wednesday night!! It was great to see so many friends and families singing along and celebrating our community. 

Well done to the Foundation students for their fantastic singing and dancing.
