Probability Fair
Nothing’s more motivating than the chance to win big!
Games of chance are a lot of fun, but to play them well, it helps to understand the Maths behind them.
Games of chance use an area of Maths called Probability. To learn about this, the Year 8s are designing games of chance for the 'Probability Fair'.
From Monday 20 November to Wednesday 22 November, the School Hall will be open to students and parents wanting to try their luck at these games.
Participants get 20 tokens and have lunchtime to win as many more tokens as they can. Tokens can be traded for prizes at the end of lunch.
These tokens won’t be easy to win. The Year 8s running the games, want to win these tokens for themselves.
The most successful Year 8s who attract lots of people to their game and win their tokens, will also win prizes.
Best of luck.
