From the WellBeing Team
We all experience anxiety from time to time and, as adults, we can be more in tune with how and why we feel it. In children, anxiety can manifest itself in many different ways, you might even be surprised by some! So, next time your child is displaying some of these behaviours take a step back and have a think about what is going on in their bigger picture.
Does it matter if they are late or leave early ?
We understand some days things just don't go to plan and students are late to school, but if this becomes a regular occurrence it does affect your child's learning. The beginning of the day is when messages for the day are relayed to students. In Secondary, notes are often given out during this Roll Call/Devotions time. In Primary notes are often distributed just before the end of day bell. Please try and make appointments outside school hours. We know sometimes this is not possible. Thank you for partnering with us the ensure your child has every opportunity to maximise their learning opportunities.
School Banking each Wednesday
School banking continues every Wednesday morning, this is a great opportunity to teach your children about saving for their future. Thank you to Mrs Andrew for faithfully managing our school banking each week. Below are some of the rewards students may earn this year through regular banking.
Mrs De Szell and Mrs Smith our lovely Canteen staff would like to thank everyone for embracing flexischools, particularly for Primary ordering this week. It has made a world of difference to the Canteen operations, Canteen staff and students.
If you have any questions, as always please call us at the College on 6539 0100 or for help with flexischools 1300 361 769.
