This term we are reading the books that have been shortlisted for the Children's Book of the Year Awards and it is time to start thinking about what character to come along as for the annual Book Week Parade. It can be a favourite book character or something to do with the theme 'Reading is My Secret Power'.

We are celebrating Book Week on Wednesday August 14th with the Book Parade in the morning, followed by the activity sessions which are run by the Year 6 students.

Come and have a look at the amazing 'Reading is My Secret Power' display outside the LIT Centre and have a chat about ideas for dressing up.

Year 1/2 News

Our students are doing really well at choosing a Good Fit Desk Book, so now, each week they are asked to bring along their Library bag so that a book can be selected to take home and share with you.
