Traffic Disruption - Hillcrest and Heather Grove from 10th February
Please refer the attached letter from Prestige Civil Group in relation to upcoming traffic disruptions for the next 10-12 weeks. We recommend you allow additional time when dropping off and collecting your daughter or make alternative arrangements.
Out and About....
It has been a smooth start to the year. Thanks has been conveyed to the students for the way they presented on the first day of school for school photos. Thanks also for the support from our parents/guardians.
A reminder that the first Killester Involvement Committee (KIC) meeting will occur next Wednesday (February 12th) at 5.45pm in the staff room. From then on we will meet on Mondays (once or twice a term) at 7.00pm. If any parent / guardian is interested in joining us for 2020 please feel free to come to our initial meeting next Wednesday... everyone is welcome. Next Friday, February 14th, is the annual Inter-House Swimming Carnival in Noble Park. Parents etc are reminded of the need to sign in at the entrance so that we are aware of who is at the event. A letter was sent to all parents this week explaining that this year. All students need to come to school at the normal time for Homeroom and cannot be dropped directly at the pool. The letter gave instructions regarding the ability for girls to be collected / to walk home directly from the pool after the event.

Please note the following rehearsal dates for the school musical, The Addams Family.
Rehearsals:
- Monday Lunchtimes
- Thursdays after school 3.30pm until 5.30pm
- Half day rehearsal ( students will be out of class period 5 &6):
Thursday 26th March, Day 9, 1.00pm - 5.30pm
Thursday 25th June Day 4, 1.00pm - 5.30pm
- School Holiday Rehearsals Thursday 9th July and Friday 10th July
- Thursday 30th July Monash Theatre Rehearsal day (ALL DAY)
- PRODUCTION WEEK Monday August 24th - Saturday 29th August (see details below)

Final Cast List will be posted on Monday. Please see Jenna Cronin or Donna Brunt if there is an issue. We have reduced the amount of rehearsals during school time so that classes are disrupted as little as possible.
