MATHS OLYMPIAD

This year our Maths Olympiad team was once again, very successful. Each Olympiad is an interschool competition which is held five times during the year. The nature of the Olympiad problems relate to reasoning, creativity, resourcefulness, ingenuity and important principles of mathematics. It was wonderful to see so many students participating and demonstrating an interest in extending their problem-solving maths skills. 

The students who participated were : 

Sanchitha M, Artem A, Samar k, Kate P, Dhruvi M, Dev B, Prisha S, Kenath S, Nathan G, Tran N, Neil Y, Anu M and Dishan S, Holly M, Shanum and Gabe S.  

Rishav S, Jasper G and Harper S deserve a special mention for receiving the highest scores for our team.

ACTIVE SCHOOLS WINNER

Congratulations to Amelia S from 3A who was the winner of the Active Schools Initiative this year. Amelia won a Fitbit for her efforts of walking to school the most. Congratulations, Amelia!

ST ANTHONY'S CHRISTMAS DAY TAKE AWAY DINNER

St Anthony’s Parish Glen Huntly will once again be offering a 3 course lunch on Christmas Day, 25th December.  The meal will be takeaway only but there is an option to have home delivery in the local area for those who cannot collect.  If you would like a meal, please complete a yellow form attached below. 

You can also contact the Parish directly, as indicated below.  Feel free to pass the invitations around.

There is no charge for the meal but help would be welcome.  Please collect a green form to offer both goods and physical assistance.
