This award goes to Cecilia for showing the HEART value of Excellence towards her writing. She has put in a tremendous effort to convince us that playing outside is better than playing inside. Cecilia filled her pages with lots of different reasons to support her argument. Keep up the amazing work Cecilia!

Beaux W. - 1/2D

Congratulations to Beaux for his amazing efforts in writing this week. Beaux embodied the HEART value of Excellence as he carefully applied his writing and spelling skills to a Fractured Fairytale. His ideas, spelling, and punctuations were outstanding! You have come such a long way this year, Beaux! Keep up the hard work.

Avah S.  - 1/2G

This award goes to Avah for her efforts in Writing. Avah has been working hard to fracture her favourite fairy-tale. She decided to add her own twist to it by changing one of the main characters. The story sounds amazing Avah. Well done.

Hannah R. - 1/2K

This award goes to Hannah for the excellence she has displayed in writing this week. Hannah has extended her knowledge of sentence writing by constructing compound sentences. Well done Hannah, you are a writing super star!

Noah G. - 3/4B

This award goes to Noah for his fantastic work in Maths. Noah eagerly practises his Quick Maths every morning and during eating times. He is quickly progressing through his times tables and shows pride in his achievements. It is great to see Noah showing such dedication to his learning! Keep up the wonderful work Noah!

Harmony C. - 3/4B

This award goes to Harmony for her great work in Integrated Studies, where she constructed a wonderful marine habitat. She spoke confidently to present her work at assembly and to the class. Harmony shared some negative human impacts on this environment and learnt a lot from her research. Well done Harmony!

Rohaan M. - 3/4K

This award goes to Rohaan for his improved work habits. He showed excellent focus and determination when writing a persuasive piece about soccer being the best sport. Keep up the great attitude Rohaan - it is one of your best pieces of writing!

Mia H. - 3/4S

This award goes to Mia for the excellent effort she has made to achieve her reading goal. Mia has been learning that making text-to-self connections can help her understand what she reads. She was able to explain and share her learning clearly and is now ready to practise text-to-text and text-to-world connections. Keep up the amazing work, Mia.

This award goes to Russell for consistently demonstrating the Scoresby HEART Values. He completes work to the best of his ability and shows respect to everyone. Russell is a wonderful friend who is always ready to help when he sees a classmate in need. He should be very proud of all of his achievements!

This award is presented to Emily for her ongoing dedication to always trying her best. Emily listens carefully to all instructions given and completes work to a high standard. Emily has been away recently and worked very hard to complete any work she may have missed. Keep up all the great work you are doing Emily!

This award goes to Ryan for the wonderful effort he has demonstrated in PONT Maths this week. He successfully calculated change to the nearest cent using mental and written strategies. Wonderful effort Ryan! I am very proud to be your teacher.

Lily M. - Performing Arts

This award acknowledges Lily for her contributions to the 150th Band performance. Lily demonstrated commitment by attending extra rehearsals and learning her parts. She also showed the courage and confidence to perform on stage. Well done Lily!  

Adalyn S. - Physical Education

This award goes to Adalyn for the wonderful improvement she made during our Bike Ed unit. She listened carefully each lesson and learnt many road and safety rules. It was fantastic to see her confidence grow when riding her bike. Well done Adalyn!

Jane B. - Visual Arts

This award goes to Jane for her creativity and diligence when solving problems. Over the past few years students in Year 6 have wanted to create shoes for their Graduation bear. Jane tried a variety of ideas and successfully designed shoes that would not fall off her bears feet. Fabulous work and effort Jane!
