Hi to all and welcome back to a big year of Cycling at SPC.

 

Locally the mountain bike scene has been trying to find their trails as the recent rains have created prolific growth of the buffell grass, but we are looking forward to a couple of events in February.

 

The Hour of Power Series Kicks off this weekend

Discount will apply to those who register for the series by Thursday, 2 February. Early bird discounts apply for individual events and will apply if registered by 2 Feb (#1), 9 Feb (#2), and 16 Feb (#3). Expect Late Fees if registering after the above dates. This series will be at twilight, commencing at 6.30pm so please remember to bring lights. 

 

Rego Pricing / HOP:- Adults - $5-$30 depending on registration.

- Juniors (3–18-year-olds) - Free 

Start: Sign on from 6.00pm. Race briefing will begin at 6.15pm for 6.30pm start - for all HOP's.

The 3/6/12 hour Mountain Bike Enduro sponsored by St Philip's is an event not to be missed. 

The race will be held at the Telegraph Station. Bring lights, obviously! Bring the fun.

Please be aware that the 12 hour will only go ahead if there are a significant number of riders entered by the 27 February. Otherwise we will be encouraging smaller teams in the 6 hour. Strava Route: https://www.strava.com/routes/17026004 

 

RACE INFORMATION:

3hr/6hr/12hr riders Start: 7pm, Saturday, 04 March

3hr Finish: 10pm, Saturday, 04 March

6hr Finish: 1am, Sunday, 05 March

12hr Finish: 7am, Sunday, 05 March

Entry Fees: Adults range between $10-$30 dependent on the event registered in. Dusty Demons and Juniors are free. Entry Fees are per person.

Early-bird prices: Discounts apply if registered by 27 February. Categories: Solo or Teams - all riders must individually register.

  • Camp on site 
  • Prepare in the afternoon on Saturday.
  • Food will be on offer so bring some cash (no eftpos).
  • Random prize draw for all competitors.
