Grade 3/4 Students

Celebrating our tremendous Threes and fabulous Fours !

3/4A - Mr Bolger

3/4A has had a wonderful start to the year and have really enjoyed getting to know each other and all of the class routines. We had fun this week working and collaborating with others during a ‘Desert Island’ activity, where students had to work in groups to decide the most important items they’d take with them to a Desert Island – it wasn’t so easy to decide!

3/4B - Mrs Hults

In 3/4B, we are warming up our maths brains by playing some fun addition and subtraction games.

Students work in teams to use their addition knowledge to race to 500.

3/4C - Ms Margarita

3/4C have had a flying start to 2023! I have been so impressed and proud of the way they have settled into the year, reconnected with their friends and shown an eagerness to learn!

This week we have been getting to know each other, setting up our classroom and setting up our classroom expectations. We discussed our school values and put together our class agreement by discussing and setting of our rights and our responsibilities in our class.

I am so excited to get to know these amazing students better and can’t wait for the fun and learning that is ahead!

3/4D - Ms Yvette

What a positive and exciting start to the year 3/4D have made! Students have embraced every opportunity to learn, made social connections and become an important part of our class community. We have enjoyed playing maths and getting to know you games, writing about our holidays and collaborating and discussing our school values, and then creating a Class Agreement, which we all then signed. Students should feel enormously proud of the way they are making new friendships and continuing to grow established connections, and the way they are learning and embracing new routines. What a wonderful year ahead for all of us in 3/4D!

3/4E - Miss Ady

We have had a fabulous first few days in 3/4E. Our time has been spent getting to know each other a little better, setting up our classroom and expectations for the year, as well as getting back into some maths games that involved adding two digit numbers using vertical notation.

Here are two of our class members battling it out to see who can reach 500 first!
