Grade 1 Students 

1A - Miss Morrison

We are already in the swing of things with our reading program. The Grade 1s discussed, ‘What makes a good reader?’ and came up with a list of great ideas such as: read the words, look at the pictures, re-read the same book, stay focused, read the whole time, find a good spot, use your strategies (Eagle Eye Eddy, Stretchy Snake etc). The students then chose books to read and model these behaviours – what super stars! 

1B - Mr Purcell

Grade 1B have already got straight back into a very busy work program. We have spent some time getting to know each other; sharing our likes, thoughts and feelings and respectfully asking questions and listening to others. We have also shared all the exciting things we did during our holidays – I think our work looks great! 

1C - Mr K

This week we have been busy creating our Five Star Quality work to put on display around our new classroom. Mr. K is very impressed with the standard and quality of the work this year!
