Pride of Workmanship Award

Tracy Blosdale of FN Port Stephens (Salamander Bay, NSW) was recently recognised by the Rotary Club of Salamander Bay with a Pride of Workmanship Award

The Awards acknowledge employees who display outstanding qualities in terms of approach, attitude, dedication and commitment to their job.

Tracy came to the attention of her local Rotary Club as a result of her quiet efforts to re-home an 85 year old man whose rental property she had been asked to sell.

As Tracy got to know her very grumpy lodger, Cliff, she soon realised his home was not going to sell to an investor and that, having no family or friends, he did not have the capacity to find a new home.

When the purchaser indicated she intended to move into her new home, Tracy arranged an emergency ACAT assessment for Cliff, helped him sell his car, bought him clothes, sourced temporary emergency accommodation, and supported Cliff until permanent accommodation had been secured. What a trooper!

Congratulations on your well-deserved recognition, Tracy.

What a great achievement! Congratulations Lara.

The Best Mother’s Day Gift Ever

This month, Maddy Bonnici of FN Bonnici & Associates (Wodonga, Vic) shares a wonderful story about the sale of 4 Middleton Crescent, Wodonga. This house was bought by 18-year-old Peri Ndakize, who bought it for his mother for Mother’s Day.

Peri purchased the home after working multiple jobs from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm to save up. Unfortunately, his finance fell through initially, but he tried again and then the sale was successfully settled.

The Border Mail newspaper and The Project both reported the story this heart-warming story of a young man working hard to support his family’s success in Australia.
