Casual dress day

The last day of term, Friday 23rd June, will be a casual dress day. Students who come out of uniform are expected to pay a gold coin, collected in home groups, to pay for this privilege. All monies raised will be donated to the Bali Street Mum’s, a charity that the Student Executive have decided to support, in order to help improve the lives of mums and their children in Bali. If students don’t want to pay, they can come in full school uniform.

VCE Vocational Major (VCE-VM) fundraiser

Work Related Skills and Personal Development Skills are subjects that the VM students have to cover as part of their course. To meet some of their course work requirements, the students decided to run a ‘Hotdog Day’ fundraiser. Not only does this fill a gap with the Café being closed on a Monday, it helps raise funds that are used for their other, ongoing projects, such as the school vegie patch.

Semester 1 reports

Semester 1 reports will be released to families to download on Friday afternoon. These reports summarise the progress your child has made; their work and effort in all their subjects over the last semester. Please take the time to read them fully. They can be used as a conversation starter about your child’s progress at school to this point, and ‘where to next’ for Semester 2, where students in Years 8 – 10 will change their elective subjects.

Dates to remember:

Friday 23rd June: This is the last day of Term 2. School finishes at 2.30pm.

Monday 10th July: First day of Term 3.
