Learning and events in our school this week:

End of term 2-  celebration of learning and our school

We have read our reports and today we will have our  student led conversations with our families. We are very excited to show all the learning we have done in class.

Today the 3/4’s performed “Cinderella” for the 1/2’s - it was a lot of fun and thank you Ms Stanton!

Prep - we have been using the rebots and learning about coding!! We love having Buddy time and spending some free time together reading, drawing, Lego or just talking!!

What can we improve on this week:

                     Actions

Looking after someone that is hurt on the yard

Saying sorry if you are responsible- stop the game to help, call a teacher on yard duty for assistance, bring to sick bay if needed
Running in the quiet area

Remember to keep the area clean and remind each other that the space is a quiet talking or game area

Lunch boxes left out on the yard

If you bring out your lunch box leave it in a spot next to your class line or on the deck- junior area

SRC Representative ACTIONS for this week

School Leaders and SRC  will be looking out for students ‘Caught Being Good’.

They will  be nominating students who are responsible, respectful and ready to learn.

Discuss what these qualities look like.

Respectful - listening, waiting turn, walking through corridor quietly, greeting/speaking to people politely

Responsible - throwing rubbish in the bin, picking up rubbish, returning sports equipment, helping others, kindness

Ready to Learn - listening to the speaker, having materials ready for learning, being on time in class or at school.
