Grade 5/6 Hooptime

Donvale Primary has been lucky enough to be confirmed as entrants into the Hooptime Basketball Tournament this year for our Grade 5/6 students.

The tournament will be held on Thursday the 17th of August at the State Basketball Centre in Wantirna South.

Students will be selected into teams specific to their skills and will play a number of games of basketball against students from other schools.

Any parents that are willing to assist in coaching teams on the day, that have a valid Working With Children Check, please let me know so that you can be assigned a team. No direct experience with coaching basketball is necessary! It must be noted that there may be a chance that you are not coaching your child's team if you do volunteer.

House Athletics Carnival (Grades 3-6)

A gentle reminder that our House Athletics Carnival for all students in Grades 3-6 is fast approaching. We are booked in to the Bill Sewart Athletics Track (330 Burwood Highway, Burwood East) on Wednesday the 9th of August.

Any parents that are willing to assist, and have a valid Working With Children Check, please let myself or Ms Bos know, and we will assign you a role for the day.
