Welcome Back to School for Term 3!
It’s hard to believe we are already halfway through the school year! I would like to extend a special welcome to students joining us from overseas this term. This is a wonderful experience for all students to learn from each other. We hope you enjoy your time Donvale Primary School.
It is also hard to believe we’ve had Mrs Larissa Vesdrevanis as our Acting Principal for one whole term already! Larissa has diligently worked to strengthen partnerships between the school and parents, creating a collaborative atmosphere that ensures the holistic development of our students. She has also fostered a culture of open communication and has been readily available to address concerns, celebrate achievements, and provide guidance to both students and staff.
We are privileged to have her at Donvale Primary School, and we look forward to the continued success under her leadership.
On another note, I would like to acknowledge how lucky our children are to have access to such a rich and broad curriculum. For a relatively small school, the programs and opportunities on offer are outstanding. This term alone, we will have House Athletics, District Athletics, School Production, Book Week celebrations and State School Spectacular plus, excursions and incursions!
To help make all these amazing activities a success for our children, we will need your help! So please keep an eye out for opportunities to volunteer. From canteen on Fridays to working bees, classroom help or production, any amount of time you can volunteer is always appreciated will continue to allow the school to hold these events.
