Pre-K to Year 2
With the change in weather, the Pre-Primary teachers have been creatively thinking of ways to keep the students dry, while enjoying play time outside. Our Pre-Primary students have recently been invited to bring Wellington boots and raincoats to keep at school during the winter months. This way, the students can play outside regardless of the weather.
On duty last week I had the pleasure of watching the students giggle and smile while splashing around in the man-made creek located in the Pre-Primary playground. The pleasure this has bought to the students has been noticeable and the race to change footwear after eating time is proof. Please see the photographs below of the Pre-Primary students enjoying their wet weather play.
The Pre-Primary students have also been very busy preparing for their upcoming Assembly. The teachers have incorporated some fantastic learning into the presentation and I hope that parents/caregivers are available to come and see the wonderful collaboration.
