Funtopia Family Night

As most of you will know last Friday night was the CCK Funtopia Family Night and WOW what a night, what a turn out!

There are many people to thank for making the night possible, but a few special thank yous need to go out to Miss Jane Wilkinson for her ongoing support in what we as a PFA were trying to achieve. To Miss Debbie Yarak for her amazing organisational skills that were put into play to make such an event run so smoothly. To the school staff who came along on the night in a show of support and the biggest thank you must go to

YOU ALL, our fantastic CCK Community!!

Through your amazing generosity and good will, we were able to not only have a super fun night but also raise $4400  for Mr Tony Hyde and his family and for that, we say a huge THANK YOU!

Four lucky families also walked away with some fab raffle prizes....

1st prize: iPad - Oscar Colella 

2nd prize: $150 Cafe Terroni voucher - Sienna Malkoun

3rd prize: $100 Sun Theatre voucher - Armani Mauriohooho

4th prize: Book Hamper - Michele Witchell (aunty of Cuni family)

School Disco

Now it’s time to catch our breath before this week's School Disco, which is always a highlight on the CCK calendar and an event not to be missed!

WHEN - Thursday 20th September 

TIME - 6:30 pm  to 8:00 pm

WHERE - Corpus Christi School Hall

COST - $5 entry

Glow Sticks/Lollies/Chips/Drinks/Show Bags will all be available to purchase on the night 

All children must be collected by a parent by 8:00 pm sharp.

It's hard to believe that Term Three is fast drawing to a close. It has certainly been a very busy term with so much learning and many wonderful events taking place.

We are so lucky to have the support of each other at Corpus Christi. The children, parents, extended family members and the staff have continued to contribute to making Corpus Christi a place where we find what is true, beautiful and good. Thank you to everyone for your support of all that we do for the children.

Some very big thank yous are due especially to our  Parents and Friends Committee: 

To the President, Belinda Miller thank you for the time you spent researching and organising our events this term especially the extremely successful Funtopia Family Night. The goals of having a social event for families to enjoy together and fundraising for Mr Hyde and his family  were certainly achieved beyond all expectations.  

Thank you to Melanie and Joe Nappa for designing the poster to advertise Funtopia. It was certainly eye-catching!

Thank you to Darren O'Brien and  Eva Galliano for helping sell raffle tickets on the night.

And a huge thank you to everyone who attended Funtopia and purchased raffle tickets. It was truly a special evening with lots of fun had by all and an incredibly generous amount of money raised in support of Tony and his family. 

Car Park and Building Update

As you will have noticed our car park has had a face lift with the parking bay lines being repainted and our KEEP CLEAR signs re-instated. Please observe the markings and only park in the designated parking bays.

The KEEP CLEAR signs mean exactly that! Please do not park or stop your car in these areas. They are not drop off zones and neither are the lanes between the rows of parking bays. We ask that all parents park their car and ensure children are walked through the car park so they arrive safely at school each day.

During the holidays the children's toilet block will be receiving a face lift too! The toilets, cubicle partitions, tiles, hand basins and flooring will all be replaced.

Hopefully early next term our new Year 1/2 Learning Community will be ready for us to move into and then Stage 3 will commence with the renovation of our current Prep Learning Community and our new Library Discovery Centre. More exciting times ahead!

End of Term Three

Just a reminder that Term 3 ends this Friday September 21st. Children will be dismissed at 1:00 pm on Friday.
