ELC News

This year the ELC children attending the Monday morning story time with Mrs Croser have enjoyed using a range of finger and hand puppets. Last week they met Edward the Emu from the School Library. Edward is an arm puppet with very long legs so the children found they had to stand up to show him off. Emu story books rounded out their experience and they had fun choosing names for new emu chicks.

Don't forget our excursion on Friday to Kuipto Forest! So much fun to be had on this outing. Watch this space for photos and stories in our next edition of the Newsletter.

Pruning or Removing trees?

The ELC is looking for natural wood/ branches/ logs for adding to our nature play area.

Fallen gum branches are ideal for climbing and building with. Please let us know if you have anything suitable. 

Able to Volunteer?

If you have some spare time in your week and you'd love the opportunity to work with our children in the Early Learning Centre, volunteering your time to assist the teaching staff would be most welcome.  The program is full and the learning is engaging but the clean up can be very time consuming so any help in this area is very much appreciated. Please see Robbie or Bev if you can help.

OSHC

Morning OSHC-  Families who have booked in should sign children in using the iPad kiosk on arrival. Students will be transported to the school at 8.30am by the Tyndale School bus. 

Afternoon OSHC-  A roll of students booked in will be sent to the School office. A Junior School teacher will collect Rec - Yr 2 students to be transported by the School bus and will come with the students to sign them in at the ELC.

OSHC children will be integrated into the ELC program and supervised by the rostered staff. Families should then enter the ELC to sign children out at pick up using the iPad kiosk.
