Enviro News

Dear families and friend of MGC,

Following the success of our 13th annual Year 7 Murnong day on the 29th of July, where we planted over 300 native plants between the school and Birrarung, we are looking forward to greeting more volunteers keen to get involved with a great conservation project

Commencing this year, staff, students, parents and friends began meeting monthly for a two hour working bee  on the “murrnong patch”. Volunteers meet at the back gate of the school on the 3rd Saturday of each month and lend a hand weeding, mulching, planting and general biodiversity tasks to tip balance in favour of the local flora and improve our outdoor learning spaces. We would love to see more students and families there.

To RSVP or for more information, please email Sustainability Coordinator Mr Andrew Vance: avance@mgc.vic.edu.au
