We are so excited to be opening in less than two weeks! Thank you to all our students, whether they are in the cast, chorus, orchestra or crew for all their hard work. We look forward to seeing you at Williamstown’s Centenary Theatre (71 Railway Place).
Important Date Reminders
Weekend Rehearsal-27th & 28th August.
Our first access to the theatre will be on the weekend of the 27th & 28th of August.
On Saturday students will be working with the orchestra and technical crew, getting used to the space for all the musical numbers. (Chorus & Specialist Dancers from 1pm)
On Sunday we will have a full dress rehearsal for Cast 2 (9-12) and Cast 1, Chorus and Specialist Dancers from 1-4pm.
Please note that crew and orchestra are required all day on both days, 9am-4pm.

Production Week-Week 8.
Tuesday 30th August- Full Dress Rehearsal at WHS Theatre, 4-9pm. (Cast 1)
Wednesday 31st August: Opening Night for Cast 1.
Thursday 1st September: Opening night for Cast 2
Friday 2nd September: Closing night for Cast 1
Saturday 2nd September: Closing night for Cast 2.
NB: Chorus, Specialist Dancers, Crew and Orchestra are required for all 4 performances.
Students will be bussed from MGC at 4pm each school day to WHS Theatre, arriving @ 5pm.
Show starts @ 7.30pm and concludes at 10pm (approx.)

Bump In: Friday 26th August. This is when all the equipment arrives.
Technical rehearsal weekend of Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August, WHS.
This is when we have access to the theatre for the first time! We get to work with our live orchestra, lights and sound and get used to the stage space. (See Compass event for exact details)
Full Dress Rehearsal: Tuesday 30th AUGUST (Cast 1) 5pm WHS. (See Compass event for exact details)

PRODUCTION WEEK
Students will be transported to WHS Centenary Theatre by bus, leaving from MGC at 4pm.
5pm: Arrival at Centenary Theatre
Dinner Break (byo dinner- access to microwaves and boiling water) and get ready. (No nuts please)
6.30pm: Compulsory preshow meeting @ in the Auditorium for everybody
7pm: Go to your dressing room and sign in with your staff supervisor.
7.15pm: Doors open
7.30pm: Show Starts!
8.40: (approx) Interval
Show Ends 10pm approx. (Final night will end a little later due to Presentations.)
Please make sure you have a lift home- organize a carpool. Please don’t travel alone.
NB: Middle school students have permission to sleep in on the mornings after the production. This will appear on their Compass as an approved activity for Period 1 only.
Ticket Sales: Tickets will go on sale in Week 5, via our MGC website. Please ensure you have already organized what nights your family and friends are able to attend.
Students will be provided with a complimentary souvenir program.
