Father’s Day

Friday morning the College will hold a short liturgy, calling to mind all of the significant males in the lives of the young men of St Pius X. We are delighted that Fr David, parish priest of Our Lady of Dolours, will assist us to mark this significant day. Following our liturgy there will be a breakfast served by the P&F.

Youth Mass

This Saturday 3 September St Pius X College will host the Our Lady of Dolours Youth Mass commencing at 5.30 pm. St Pius will have a number of students and staff involved in various ministries, joining with the students of Mercy College and the parish to assist with the Eucharistic celebration. All are welcome.

Year 10 Reflection Day #3

Last Friday our Year 10 students  took time out of their studies to consider themselves, their future and where they see themselves with their studies. With a focus on the Parable of the Sower, students were asked to consider the type of soil they foster within themselves as they take part in each of the experiences offered to them here at St Pius X College. Through the support of our guest presenter – Glen Gerreyn, the young men of Year 10 were provided with strategies and support structures so that they were hoped filled for the future, ready to become the best person they can be. Glen’s energy and passion for developing young people is palpable. We pray as a community that the Year 10 students left ready to prepare the soil so as to harvest a rich crop.
