Book Week

Don’t forget book week next week. Here is a snapshot of some fun activities that are planned throughout the week.

Buninyong Book Bonanza – ‘Give a book, take a book’

Book Week is nearly here and the excitement is mounting! We are going to hold a whole school book swap. This means that we are asking all students to donate a book (or more if you would like) from home they have read, no longer want but know that someone else would enjoy that book. It’s a wonderful process that all students will enjoy. Everyone gets to go home with a book and it is really good for our environment as we recycle a book. Books should be in good condition. If you have more than one book that your child is willing to donate, please send them in for spares. Books can be handed into your child’s teacher. 

On the day of the swap, teachers will put out all the books that have been donated and students will get the chance to browse and choose a book to take home and keep.
