PERFORMING ARTS
Our Performing Arts team are excited to be back at Wexford and Tallis Campus for semester one. This year we welcome two new teachers to the Junior Performing Arts team. Sarah Cole and Sasha Stella are no strangers to our College but are both new to the Junior Campus Performing Arts Team. Ms Cole is teaching students from P-8 and is looking forward to sharing her passion with our students and helping them to develop a passion for The Arts. Mr Stella, teaches Music at the Goldsworthy Campus, and we are very lucky to have him teaching the Year 7/8’s at Wexford Campus and introducing them to his rock band program. We look forward to sharing with our school community some of the great work they produce as the year goes on
IMPACT
IMPACT (Inspiring Musicians Performers and Artists to Create Together) has made an exciting transition into our Year 7, 8, 9 and 10’s this year and it has been exciting welcoming so many students who have a passion for The Arts. Our Year 7/8 ASCEND IMPACT students started this week at our new home at Peacock Campus, where both SEED and IMPACT are located to create this exciting new program.
Our 2022 Year 9’s are looking forward to working on the radio program 'Taking Over the Airways' and learning about running their very own radio show.
Year 10’s have been working alongside animation company Pillowfort, who have been teaching them the art of Animation.

EXTENDED SCHOOL DAY
NBC is very excited to say that the Extended School Day will return for its 7th year this term. The term one program will be smaller than usual, running for 4 weeks, with less programs. Classes will commence on Tuesday March 1 and conclude on Thursday March 25.
Notes will go out next week with sign up taking place on Wednesday February 23 – 25.
