Set in Thailand, the story follows a young backpacker’s adventures and experiences on his first trip to Thailand. This is a perfect read on your travels as it talks about the contrast between the materialistic western world and the freedom that travellers find in Southeast Asia.

Learn how to use emotive language and work in different forms of poetry and uncover techniques to help you develop your own slam poetry style.
All boot camps are open to teens aged 13 to 18 years old from all around Australia. They are free to attend, but require consent from a parent or guardian. Participation in this program will include sharing work created during the program.
Please note: to register for this event you must be available for all four sessions.

The Quad
Turn recycled items into art in this interactive workshop with Melbourne-based artist Georgina Humphries.
Kids will get hands on to transform single-use household items into new, useful objects using Georgina’s bright and kaleidoscopic style.
Georgina will also explore the impact throw-away culture has on the environment and give kids the tools they need to recycle creatively at home.
Sessions
- Session 1: 10.30am - 11.30am (ages 5-8).
- Session 2: 1pm - 2pm (ages 9-12).
Please note: tickets will be released on Monday 18 April.
