Parent Forum

Two Parent Forums were held on 22 August, at 9am and 5:30pm. Mr Seivers provided a virtual walk through of Lavalla Stage 2, gave an update on activities in Term 3 so far and answered any questions parents had. It is hoped more parents might attend in the future now that Covid restrictions have eased as this is a terrific opportunity to touch base with the Principal, school leadership and other parents. The forum takes the format of an informal Q&A where senior leadership answers questions.

The parents present supported the allocation of $275,000 of P&F levy funding towards a variety of facilities in Lavalla Stage 2, including resources and equipment in the music rooms, recording studio and science labs as well as furnishings throughout the building.  The new building is expected to be ready for use by May 2023 (weather permitting) and we look forward to the official opening. These new facilities will certainly support the education of all the boys at St Augustine's across several subjects.
