Year 4 at Windermere

In Week 2 at Windermere Year 4 learned about different types of rocks. The rocks we learned about were metamorphic, igneous, and sedimentary. We started to look for the different types of rocks and headed up to the BMX track and found many of them. The main rock we found was metamorphic because it’s very common. We ended the trip with delicious roasted marshmallows.

Round Square Intergenerational Project – Trivia Through the Ages

At the end of Term 2, a group of students travelled to the Wontama Aged Care facility to take place in a trivia afternoon held for students and residents. “Trivia Through the Ages,” was the first of many planned projects ideated, organised and executed by Year 11 Round Square students participating in our “Intergenerational Project.” There was delicious food, interesting questions and fierce but friendly competition between the teams. It was a wonderful opportunity for students and residents to work together, sharing knowledge and experiences.
