Primary 1

Welcome back to school. This is Lower Primary 1 and in Semester Two our class is inquiring about and investigating what we would like people to know about us. We have been writing about our families, the number of people in our family and how each family in our class is different.

The students have developed a good understanding of our School Behaviour Expectations over semester one and are already continuing into semester two making excellent choices and working to the best of their ability.

Our class has also made positive strides in their learning of phonics. Our school’s phonics program, which was introduced at the beginning of the year will ensure all students have the tools to successfully and confidently blend sounds, decode words and explore objects beginning with those sounds.
