The Generosity Collection

Mitcham Primary School are throwing our support behind local charity, The Generosity Collective in Term 3 by hosting a  Winter Warmers Clothing Drive on Friday 18 August.

What: Donate a lightly used or new hoodie, jumper, trackie pants or jackets (any size, including adults).

Where: Bring your donations into your classroom for collection or drop off donations in the Multi Purpose Room between 8.30-9.00am and 3.15-3.45pm.

When: Friday 18 August 2023

Why: The Generosity Collective are experiencing a huge spike in requests for support. Warm items are needed all year  round and in low supply. 

The Generosity Collective supports individuals and families who may be experiencing homelessness, sleeping rough, fleeing domestic violence, in refuge and crisis accommodation, those who may be accessing residential and psychiatric support services, children in out of home care residential, foster and kinship care and Emergency and ICUs and many more programs across Melbourne's east. 

They are grassroots 100% volunteer driven and based in Mitcham and desperately need your help this winter. 

If you’re unable to donate during the clothing drive, you may wish to consider donating directly to The Generosity Collective at a later date.

Second hand Uniform Shop

We wish to extend our apologies for the late notification for our inability to open the second hand uniform shop this week. Unfortunately, staff absence meant we could not open this facility for you.  We will endeavour to arrange an alternative time.  Check Compass message for this.
