Hello from the Canteen

How lovely has it been to have some sunny days sneaking through?! Hopefully the rain will start to leave us alone and we will keep seeing more of this nice weather.

Stock and menu update

Have you noticed a couple of special additions to the menu? These items will be limited availability for now to see how they go. They are Butter Chicken (available in a regular or large serve) and Tuna and Corn Mornay with spiral pasta. We are also trialling Golden North Swings (Chocolate, Strawberry and Banana) which have already been flying out the door.

Don’t forget the Krazy Krush promotion is still going. Keep checking your cups for the special stickers. One random cup in every 10 wins a free Krazy Krush! To claim, the special cup must be returned to the canteen. The free Krazy Krush will be able to be collected the next day. Also keep an eye out for information coming soon for Colour Explosion day specials.

As always, the QKR! menu will show current availability/out of stock items and specials so please use QKR! to order if you can. Parents and students are also still able to come into the canteen in the mornings to purchase food for lunches or a special treat from our frozen range. 

Student Reminders

Students with frozen treat vouchers need to make sure they bring them to the canteen to be able to receive their treat. Treat vouchers are then stamped and checked to ensure students get the correct items. When possible, please don’t send children with notes larger than $10.00 unless you are ordering lunches for more than one child. 

Preschool

Preschool students are welcome to order lunches, drinks, and snack foods (unfortunately not frozen treats unless you are wanting to order one of our Birthday Buckets) however they must use QKR! to order because they do not bring a lunch tray to us in the mornings. 

If you (parent/carer) need to do a preschool cash order you will need to visit the canteen in person between 9-9.30am to place the order. If you need help setting up QKR! please come in and see us in the in the canteen or the school office, we can help you do this.  Any lunch orders will be delivered to the preschool at lunchtime by our team of year 5/6 helpers. 

Trading Days

As communicated to our community this week, our canteen will only be open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for the rest of the term. Thank you for your understanding.
