Protecting our families from the flu

Children need special protection from the flu, especially babies and toddlers. The flu vaccine can be given at the same time as other scheduled, routine childhood vaccines and will protect them against the most common strains.

It's free and available from your GP and some council services for children aged 6 months to 5 years and those most at-risk of serious illness from flu.
