Year 1/2 Kyabram Excursion

To conclude our non-fiction unit on Australian Animals, the Year 1/2 students went to Kyabram Fauna Park. Some of our favourite animals included, the Tasmanian Devils, meerkats and the cassowary.

Students enjoyed the day and when asked had the following to say -

The koala was very cute when sleeping - Mia B

I liked the snakes when they were slithering down into their food - Ashton & Lachlan

We got to pat a kangaroo - 1/2B

The joey came out of the mother kangaroos pouch - Amelia M

It was the best day of the year so far! - Year 1/2S
