Principal's Update

Hello everyone!

I enjoyed walking around the school last night chatting to parents and students about how their school year is going. Parent Teacher Interviews are a great opportunity to meet with your child's teacher to discuss their progress. Many families took advantage of this opportunity, but if you were unable to make it to the interviews last night please contact the office or teacher to arrange another suitable time. 

Spelling Bee

We are very excited to be holding our Spelling Bee again this year! There has been lots of excitement in the lead up, with our Junior Spelling Bee today and Senior Spelling Bee next week. It is wonderful to see students practising and working so hard at learning to spell, the enthusiasm towards the Spelling Bee is a credit to all of our students and teachers. 

2023 Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey

Our school is conducting a survey to find out what parents / caregivers / guardians think of our school. The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey is an annual survey offered by the Department of Education that is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement. The survey is optional but we encourage all families to participate. Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies. All families are invited to participate in the survey.

The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open from Monday 7 August to Friday 8 September 2023.

The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time within the survey period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. The online survey will be available in English and 10 other languages including Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Please speak to your child’s teacher if you would like more information.

The link and password to the survey will be sent out next week after the survey opens. 

2024 Enrolments

We are now accepting enrolments for 2024. If you or any families you know have a child starting Foundation in 2024, please contact the school to arrange an enrolment pack. We welcome all families to book a tour of the school with either myself or Jeremy. We love to show our school off! 

Pre-Prep Program

We are very excited to be offering our Pre-Prep Program again in Term 4! Enrolments are open for all 2024 Foundation students. This program has proven to be successful in giving students the opportunity to experience school life and become confident in a school setting. This leads to a smoother transition to their Foundation year and commencement of their schooling journey. To enrol for the Pre-Prep Program please contact the office on 58721374.
