Magic Millions Choir Rehearsal

The choir participants along with 400 other choir members from a variety of schools were involved in their first rehearsal as a whole group, including the band, orchestra and "The Troop" along with Alia F as this year's Host for our Festival Choir performance and the northern performance.

Many of the songs were sung as were the soloists, it was a very intense rehearsal for all participants. 

It will be a great performance to see in week 9, I look forward to seeing and hearing not only the choir, and soloists but also the other acts including The Troop. Alia has an amazing role as one of the Hosts for this event.

Instrumental Music Night

I attended a lovely instrumental music evening at Greenwith Campus on Monday, 14 August. I would like to thank the coordinator of the Greenwith campus instrumental program, Ms Robyn Reuther from Our Lady of Hope.  

The children performed skillfully and with confidence to an audience of parents, family and friends. The instrumental music evening was a success and everyone enjoyed the concert.   

The students from GPS who played piano were: Lucas, Keeley,  Zara and Hannah. The students from GPS who played guitar were: Ryan and Tevin. Jayden played the saxophone.

A very special thank you to the instrumental tutors; Robert, Doug, Karyn, Casey, Jordan and Gustavo.
