Year 2

Swimming Program

The compulsory swimming program for Year 2 students starts next week. The intensive program of daily sessions is from Monday 4 September to Wednesday 13 September at the Huntingtower Sports and Aquatic Centre (HSAC) Swim School in Mount Waverley. Program details have been published on Compass. 

Parent volunteers to assist children get ready to return to school are their lesson are required. If you hold a current Working with Children Check, please speak to your child's teacher if you're available. 

Parents are welcome to attend at HSAC to watch their child's lesson. If attending to watch, you are not permitted to interact with your child at the pool or take any photos or video.

Fizzics Science Incursion

As part of our Integrated unit this term the Year 2s are learning about science, and physical and chemical changes. We are looking forward to an incursion run by Fizzics Education next Wednesday, 6 September.
