Year 12

With the senior students returning from remote learning before the juniors last term, it was an opportunity to focus on their wellbeing and to re-ignite the year level spirit.

One activity on offer was Zumba, conducted by the very energetic Ms Wallace. What started out as a bit of a 'one off', ended up being a weekly (sometimes twice a week) affair. Many students remained at the end of the day to unwind and exercise to the Zumba beat.

Big thanks to Ms Wallace for these fun filled classes!

Students were also asked to reflect on their time in isolation. The majority listed friends as the thing they missed the most. For “what are you most thankful for?” the overwhelming response was “family” followed closely by “returning safe”. Many of the girls stayed connected via social media; however, judging by the squeals and laughter on their first day back at school, it was easy to tell that face-to-face contact is still the best way to communicate with friends.

Over the next few weeks there will be a number of workshops and activities on offer for our senior students to participate in whilst at the same time strengthening their year level connection.
