College News and

Transport Information

Trains have resumed as Mentone Station reopened on Monday 20 July, two weeks ahead of schedule.

Cheltenham Station will reopen on Sunday 16 August, with trains running express through Cheltenham until then. Shuttle buses will operate between Southland and Mentone stations to connect passengers to rail services.

Moving forward, crews will continue working on the new pedestrian and cycle path between Mentone and Cheltenham and will soon start work on the Mentone Station gardens and heritage deck, which are due for completion in early 2021. Rail passenger parking will be complete by late 2020.

From late July works will take place along Como Parade West to replace the footpath between the new Mentone Station and the station gardens. Footpath detours will be required at times, with traffic management in place.
