SCSA Running Competition

The SCSA Running Competition finished up on 19 June and we had some outstanding results for some of our runners!

Stella Mackay (Year 8) and Siorcha Creaton (Year 10) dominated their competitions to win both the 3km and 5km events.

Alaska O’Leary (Year 12) also ran exceptionally well to take three minutes off her personal best in the 5km event to finish in 3rd place. Amazing effort girls!

In the teams event, Kilbreda performed very well to finish in 3rd place. Well done to all the girls that took part in this event and uploaded their runs.

This term, the SCSA is running a new competition for the next six weeks. The competition involves students creating a video of themselves performing skills from any of the SCSA sports.

We have also attached the Term 2 SCSA newsletter for you to read, if interested.

At this stage all SCSA sport for Term 3 has been cancelled. We have postponed our House Athletics Carnival to hopefully run later this term; however, at this stage this is also under review. Hopefully we can sneak this in before the year is out!

In the last week of last term the VET Sport and Recreation students were busy planning some lunchtime competitions for the students to participate in this term. At this stage they are on hold but we will hopefully be able to get these up and running when Year 7 to 10 students are able to return to the College.

In the meantime, keep being active in as many ways as you can!
