A note from Mr Jackson

Thanks From Our Staff

Staff have shared their thanks and appreciation to carers and parents for their collaboration and support of student learning during the remote learning period. The open letter is a simple expression of gratitude for the support and encouragement of students. It reflects the significant strengthening of relationships between parents and teachers during these times of isolation. It is again a reminder that although we are encouraged to practice physical distancing, we are fortunate to be able to live and learn in a supportive and collaborative space.

Early Finish on Friday

A reminder that our students in 3-6 will be dismissed at 2:15pm on Friday. Students in Prep-2 will be dismissed at 2:30pm. Please ensure that students are picked up promptly. OSHClub is open after school for parents who are unable to pick their students up. Please ensure students are enrolled if required.

3 Way Conferences

Bookings are open for our 3 Way Conferences that are scheduled for Monday 20 July and Tuesday 21 July. Notes were sent home this week and posted on Compass with details on the organisation of the interviews. Please make sure that the survey is completed and returned in order to make the most of the interview time.

An End of an Era

This week students and staff have celebrated the remarkable contribution of Pam Brett to our community. She has served our school as cleaner for the last twelve years. Prior to that she ensured the safety of all those who attended in her role of Crossing Supervisor for 11 years. During this time her children have attended Rosanna Primary. For over 30 years, Pam has embedded herself into our school. Students have sung her songs, sketched pictures and played games with her this week as she has bid farewell to our community. All are invited to share in our final thanks to her on RPSTV.

Stay Safe

I wish to convey my personal thanks for the way in which our community has pulled together through these extraordinary times. The patience, encouragement and gentleness shown between students, staff and carers during these anxious days has been a powerful reminder of our own potential as a community. We all look to healthier days ahead! Have a restful and peaceful holiday. We look forward to regathering on Monday 13 July 2020.
