Christmas Concert

Well done to all the children who attended our carols celebration. The emphasis on this night is always on participation not perfection and we try to get as many students as possible involved.  It was such a lovely evening and it was so lovely seeing the pride and excitement on the student's faces as they performed in front of our school community and their families.  A very special thank you to Carmelo Sciglitano, (Sienna and Gisele’s dad), for providing the sound equipment, setting it up and monitoring it on the night.  Although the temperature on the night was perfect and the sky was blue, the wind presented a big challenge and we could not have done without Carmelo’s help.

This week our school choir was featured along with information about the combined school’s choir on the CEM website  https://www.cem.edu.au/News-Events/November-2019/Choirs-inspire-with-Remembrance-Day-song.aspx This was a lovely way to show how important music and activities like choir are in enriching children’s lives.

We are planning to expand the Combined School’s Choir next year and are involving an additional school in Richmond.  We hope to increase the number of students who come along to our after school rehearsal on Monday afternoons so please keep this in mind.
