Year 5 Boys - Term 3 Holidays Event
Tuesday 1 October 2019: Archery and Laser Tag at the Homebush Archery Centre.

When: Tuesday 1 October 2019 from 10.00am
Please arrive by 9.45am to make yours son’s individual direct payment to the venue
Where: Archery Centre, Bennelong Parkway, Sydney Olympic Park
Cost: $31 for both archery (10am start) and laser tag (to be confirmed as 11am or 12pm start) or $19 for one session
Siblings who are 7 years of age or over and Adults are welcome to join in.

Year 7 Mums' & Sons' Night Out - Dads not forgotten!
Year 7 Mum’s night out: The Year 7 Class Parents would love the mothers of Year 7 boys to join us for dinner on Saturday 26 October at 7:00 pm. It's a great opportunity to meet other mums and we have organised a fun way to ensure you meet new people from the beginning to end of dinner. We guarantee you will meet a new mum (or 2 or 3) on the night!
This will be our last function for the year and we encourage you to get in quick and book your place on the TryBooking Link below. At this stage, we have secured the booking for 30. However if we are inundated and fill up in the next 10 days, we will increase the numbers to suit.

- PLACE: Infuzions Cammeray - 439 Millers Street, Cammeray
- COST: $43.00/head includes a delicious mix of tapas to start, then a range of exquisite mains, finishing with your choice of tea or coffee for dessert. Cost includes corkage for BYO wine ONLY.

Now for the husbands ... we have not left you out! In fact one of our enterprising class mums, Lorna Hammond, has researched a golf afternoon at Castle Cove with drinks at the bar afterwards. We do require an enthusiastic dad to run with this, so if you're willing, please email Lorna Hammond on lornahammond@hotmail.com and she will be happy to pass on the details.

Below are a few photos from the Year 10 Mums' High Tea event held at Killara Golf Club last Sunday afternoon.
Year 10 Dinner Dance
The SPX Year 10 boys dinner dance will be held on Tuesday 3 December 2019 at the Epping Club. This event is organised by SPX College and parents do not attend this event. I have booked The Den function area at the nearby recently renovated Epping Hotel for a parents get together after dropping off our boys and possibly their dance partners!! We can have a cocktail party food and parents can then buy their own drinks in the nearby main bar area and return to The Den function area. The benefit of the Epping Hotel is it is right near the Epping Club and we can the pick up our boys and their dance partners for the drive home.
An invite with an SPX Trybooking link will be sent and included in Woodchatta early in Term 4 so that we can confirm numbers to the Epping Hotel for catering purposes.
In the meantime, please save this date in your diaries and perhaps discuss the upcoming event with your Year 10 boy!!
