PNG Day

The children dressed in red, black and gold to help raise money for the people in Aitape, that our school and parish has committed to supporting over the coming years. 

The children were involved in activities in their classrooms, aimed at raising students' awareness of the living conditions and lifestyles of those living in Aitape. They also had opportunities to make comparisons with their own lives.

Thank you to the children and families who supported the day, by dressing up, making donations and coming along to the sausage sizzle. 

A special mention to the Year 6 Community Leaders who did a wonderful job of organising various aspects of the day.

After the Sleep Out and PNG day, we have now raised close to $2,000. This will go a long way to supporting the students and teachers of St Anna and Aitape Primary School.
