Community Champion

Did you know that Miss Huglin (teacher - 2H) and her mum are Community Champions???

Miss Huglin and her mum are regular volunteers with St Vincent de Paul Society Soup Vans. The Vinnies soup vans operate where the needs is greatest in capital cities and regional centres. The Berwick Soup Van provides assistance to people who might be facing tough times. They offer a friendly face and a warm meal to people in the Berwick region three nights a week. Last year, they helped 70 people per night. They have provided more than 12,000 meals to people in Berwick, Cranbourne, Hampton Park and Narre Warren. Miss Huglin and her mum volunteer on Sunday nights and they both find volunteering for Vinnies is a rich and rewarding experience.

Super Heros Day

On Tuesday 8 we held a Super Hero themed fundraiser to support Ryan P in 6J as he heads off to represent Victoria at the National Softball Championships.

Thank you to everyone who got into the theme and dressed up - it was super day!!

We wish Ryan the best of luck and know he will do a great job representing our school and our State.
