Parent Support

At Jells Park Primary School we are very fortunate to receive a great deal of support from our parents and from the wider community. Parents assist with excursions, camps, activities, Literacy, Numeracy, RACV, discos, many sporting events, Kids Hope mentors, Year 1 Evening, Year 2 Adventure Day, school banking and concert costumes, just to name a few events where we have had a great deal of support. To thank all our wonderful parents and community members, there will be a Parent Helpers Afternoon Tea on Wednesday 7 December at 2.45pm.  Please keep this time free and please phone or email the school office if you will be attending so we can cater appopriately.

Last Day of school for 2016

Parents are reminded that on the last day of school, Tuesday 20 December, we finish with a whole school assembly at 12.15pm and students are dismissed at 1.00pm. OSHClub will operate from 1.00pm on this day. Please note that crossing supervisors do not work at this time but the crossings on Petronella Avenue and Jells Road (near Petronella Avenue) will be supervised by Jells Park Staff.  

Free Sports Dress Day

On Tuesday 22 November we are holding a ‘Free Sports Dress Day’ to raise funds for Jordan G in Year 4. Jordan successfully made the State Athletics Team and will soon be travelling to Sydney to compete in the National Championship in the 100m/200m and 4 x 100m relay. Gold coin donations would be appreciated to help Jordan with associated costs.

Last Day for School Banking

Our Last School Banking Day for 2016 is Tuesday 29 November. Thank you to the ongoing support of our parents who come in each Tuesday morning to ensure this program is available to our students.  Banking will recommence in March 2017.

Canteen News

The Canteen will be closed on Monday 28 and Wednesday 30 November. There will be no sales at recess and no lunch orders.
