Division Swimming at St.Albans - Tuesday 21st March

Well done to our swimmers who represented Ascot Vale District at division swimming on Tuesday 21st March at St Albans.

A great achievement to qualify and some amazing individual performances on the day.

Good luck to Ella N & Elli H who will now compete at Regions next Tuesday.

A big thanks to all the parents who helped on the day.

Ride to School Day

Moonee Ponds West participated in National Ride2School Day on Friday 17th of March.

Active travel is a great way for students of all ages to meet their recommend daily dose of 60 minutes physical activity every day.

The purpose of National Ride2School Day is to show school communities that riding to school is an easy and fun activity. It is a chance to celebrate on a large scale and prove it can be done.

Bicycle Network’s National Ride2School Day is the perfect opportunity for Australian students and school communities to embrace a healthier start and to try walking and riding to school for themselves.

All students who participate in Ride2School Day have gone into the draw to win an environmental / physical activity hamper, this will be announced at our final assembly next week.  Good luck and we hope to see more of you using active travel to get to school.

Cross Country

Well done to all runners who competed in district cross country today at Aberfeldie Park.

We will have a full wrap in next week's newsletter.

We need your help!

For our programs to run we need lots of parent assistance. If you are able to assist with any of our events please see Bree and pass your Working with Children check details onto the office.
