There are lots of opportunities available beyond the classroom at DCC ranging from activities at recess and lunch times to after school or affiliated programs that students can be a part of. All of these opportunities are optional. We’ll keep you up to date if any new initiatives become available.

During the school day:

  • Prayer For Kids (Prep – Year 6) run by Mr Bonfa, Mrs Paterson and Mr Heng
  • Drama Club (Year 4 – Year 6) run by Miss Reed 
  • Art Club (Year 1-6) run by Mrs Hardy and Mrs Roberts 
  • Curiosity Club – Science (Year 3) run by Mrs LePage 
  • Science Talent Search (Year 4 – Year 6 by invitation) run by Mrs Wong 
  • Drum Club (Year 3 – Year 6) run by Mr Bonfa 
  • Enviro Monitors (Year 3 – Year 6 by application) run by Mr Jones
  • Enviro Space (Prep – Year 6 at specified lunchtimes) overseen by Mr Jones
  • Chess Club (Year 1 – Year 6) run by an external provider. 
    (The school contact is Mr Morgan, who will post a Schoolbox News alert regarding how to register when the program is ready to start)

Music:

  • Primary Vocal Ensemble – Choir (Year 3 – Year 6) run by Ms Searle Monday afternoons from Week 3.
