Mercy

“Mighty Mercy” has had an amazing start to the school year. We were triumphant on the very first Living Well Learning Well day taking out the Trivia comp with Mercy 5 achieving the highest points. We celebrated with some icy treats as a reward.

Many Mercy students volunteered their time to help out with “Shrove Tuesday” Pancake Day to kick start our Project Compassion campaign. We are pondering other fundraising ideas.

Students have been busy competing in many extra curricular activities this term with many achieving great success.

The Swimming Carnival was outstanding weather wise and how all students participated. However, on the day Mercy was victorious, winning all the three trophies up for the taking.

The relay, participation and highest point score trophies. All “Mercy Crusaders” participated wholeheartedly either in competitive or in the many non competitive events resulting in house points. Three cheers for  Mercy!

It has been a very busy term and there is still learning to be done and some exciting activities to participate in such as the Cross Country and Pink Stumps Day at the end of term which is always a great way to finish the term. Let's hope we continue to let our Mercy light shine just as we have done so far this year. Go Mercy!
