From the Year 1 Classroom

Year 1 had a great time settling into the new routines and getting to know each other. In week 1 we have engaged in a Learning to Learn program where the students had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the resources in the room. 

Using their workbooks, students revisited the importance of using kind words and actions, both in the classroom and playground and began a gradual introduction to Writer’s Workshop, Independent Reading and Guided Reading with the classroom teacher.
