New staff introductions

Welcome to:
Tom Drummond
My name is Tom and I am a new Acting Assistant Principal. I’m thrilled to be joining the North Melbourne Primary community and I have felt very welcomed by staff, students and families. I have been teaching in schools around Melbourne for nearly twenty years – most recently at Williamstown North Primary School, where I was Literacy Leader. I love gardening, cooking, spending time with my family and walking our excitable Yorkshire terrier, Scout. I look forward to getting to know you all!
Brad Morin
Hello! My name is Brad Morin and I am one of the new Year Five teachers at NMPS. I have taught in several schools over the years but I spent the last eleven teaching at Wembley Primary School in Yarraville. I grew up travelling the world with my family but I spent most of my childhood in my hometown of Boston and Tokyo, Japan. I have been in Melbourne for seventeen years and my wife and I love it here! We enjoy Melbourne's many restaurants and theatres. Sushi is our favourite! Looking forward to seeing you in the schoolyard.
Caroline Bett
Hello! My name is Caroline Bett and I am a new teacher at NMPS. I first developed my love for teaching when I worked as a GAP student in an English boarding school during my first year out of school. After returning home, I studied a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Human Rights and Philosophy. Following this I spent two years away working in outback Queensland. I returned to complete my Masters in Teaching (Primary) and am absolutely loving being in the classroom!
Hailey Painter
My name is Hailey and I’ll be teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) at NMPS this year which I am super excited about. Previously I have taught generalist primary as well as specialist vision teaching. I enjoy travelling, cooking, snowboarding, a good adventure and learning new things!
Paige Frazer
Hi everyone, my name is Paige and I am so excited to be teaching Prep C this year. I am in my 12th year of teaching and was welcomed into the North Melbourne Primary community last year when I worked as a CRT for 6 months. I grew up in a small town called Leeton and moved to Melbourne at the beginning of 2020 (I love everything about this beautiful city!) In my spare time I love exploring Melbourne's amazing cafes and restaurants, and going for walks with my dogs, Zoe and Kona.
Gladys Yun
I was born in South Korea and moved to Melbourne at the age of 10! I enjoy trying new restaurants and cafes with my friends. I am a big foodie as I love to eat and also enjoy taking instagrammable photos for my friends. I am looking forward to having an amazing year with my 2C friends and families this year!
