Last Wednesday 168 Year 7 students and 10 staff set off for camp at a new venue – Noosa North Shore – and what followed was three days of action-packed activities, relationship-building, teamwork and lots of fun. Students and staff enjoyed activities including stand up paddle boarding, raft-building, surfing and boogie boarding as well as beach games and team initiatives.

At night, lots of fun was had with laser tag and there were moments of quiet reflection during our night hike on the second evening. Students were also able to swim each afternoon in the pool, which was a great reprieve from the searing heat.

The staff enjoyed getting to know the students and we were very impressed with the way they threw themselves into each activity and gave everything a go.

This bodes well for a great year ahead with this cohort to which we look forward. I invite you to enjoy some of the photos that were taken at Year 7 camp below.
