Community Hub

Let's get sewing!

Our Community Hub program is well underway this term with lots of great opportunities for our community members to be part of.

Conversational English classes, walking group and sewing classes have all been popular. With 5 participants in the sewing group, there are lots of opportunity for help and skill development. Our members are learning how to draft patterns, cut out fabric and use an overlocker and sewing machine. A variety of garments are in different stages right now including tops, dresses and pyjamas. We can't wait to see the finished products!

If you are interested in participating in any of the activities at our Community Hub, please contact Janice through the school office or drop in. The Hub is located in V1-V3 and is open Monday - Thursday.
